Method

Mushroom Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Clean Mushrooms

Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Remove the stems and set them aside.

  3. 3

    Season Mushrooms

In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Brush the mushroom caps with this mixture to season.

Stuffing Mixture

  1. 4

    Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, and red pepper flakes. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  2. 5

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Take the mushroom caps and fill each one generously with the cheese mixture using a spoon or your hands.

Baking

  1. 6

    Arrange and Bake

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs and extra Parmesan cheese on top of the stuffed mushrooms. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.

  2. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your stuffed mushrooms warm!
