Garlic Butter

Method

Preparation of Lobster

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster Tails

Using kitchen shears, carefully cut down the top of the lobster tails lengthwise. Stop just before you reach the tail fin. Gently pull apart the shell to expose the meat.

  2. 2

    Season the Lobster

Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the exposed lobster meat. Set aside to marinate while you prepare the garlic butter.

Garlic Butter Preparation

  1. 3

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Do not let it brown.

  2. 4

    Add Garlic and Seasonings

Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, and salt. Stir well and let simmer for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat.

Grilling the Lobster

  1. 5

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F (200°C).

  2. 6

    Grill the Lobster Tails

Place the lobster tails meat side up on the grill. Brush generously with the prepared garlic butter. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.

  3. 7

    Baste During Cooking

Use the remaining garlic butter to baste the lobster tails every couple of minutes for added flavor.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve the Lobster Tails

Remove the lobster tails from the grill and let them rest for a minute. Serve hot, drizzled with any remaining garlic butter and garnish with additional parsley if desired.
