Fries

Sour Cream & Onion Dip

Method

Fries

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to create fries.

  2. 2

    Soak the Fries

Place the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water and soak for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  4. 4

    Dry the Fries

After soaking, drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a clean towel to remove moisture.

  5. 5

    Season the Fries

In a large bowl, combine the dried fries with truffle oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

  6. 6

    Bake the Fries

Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

  7. 7

    Add Cheese and Parsley

Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.

Sour Cream & Onion Dip

  1. 8

    Mix the Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 9

    Blend Well

Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well incorporated and the dip is smooth.

  3. 10

    Chill the Dip

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
