Method

Cocktail Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Glass

Take a small plate and pour a thin layer of sugar on it. Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a chilled cocktail glass, then dip the rim into the sugar to coat it. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Muddle Raspberries

In a cocktail shaker, add 1 cup of fresh raspberries. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently crush the raspberries to release their juices.

  3. 3

    Mix Ingredients

Add 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of simple syrup, 2 ounces of vodka, and 2 ounces of lemonade to the shaker with the muddled raspberries.

  4. 4

    Add Ice and Shake

Fill the shaker with 1 cup of ice. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

  5. 5

    Strain and Serve

Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the mixture into the prepared cocktail glass, discarding the solids. The drink should be smooth and vibrant in color.

Garnishing the Drink

  1. 6

    Add Garnish

Garnish the drink with two lemon slices on the rim and four fresh raspberries dropped into the drink for an added touch.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Raspberry Lemon Drop cocktail!
