Method

Prepare the Coffee Mixture

  1. 1

    Brew and Mix Coffee

Brew a strong cup of coffee and let it cool. Once cool, mix in the coffee liqueur and sugar until dissolved.

Prepare the Mascarpone Mixture

  1. 2

    Mix Egg Yolks and Sugar

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and powdered sugar until the mixture is pale and fluffy.

  2. 3

    Add Mascarpone

Gently fold the mascarpone cheese into the egg yolk mixture until smooth.

  3. 4

    Whip the Cream

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

  4. 5

    Combine Mixtures

Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.

Assemble the Tiramisu

  1. 6

    Dip the Ladyfingers

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

In a 9x13 inch dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers, then half of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone.

  3. 8

    Chill and Serve

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
