Method

Popcorn Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the boneless chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  3. 3

    Marinate Chicken

Pour buttermilk over the chicken pieces and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Coat the Chicken

After marinating, take each chicken piece and coat it thoroughly in the dry mixture.

  5. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  6. 6

    Fry the Chicken

Fry the coated chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per batch.

  7. 7

    Drain and Serve

Remove the chicken from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.

Creamy Horseradish & BBQ Sauce

  1. 8

    Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, horseradish sauce, BBQ sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  2. 9

    Adjust Seasoning

Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or horseradish to your preference.

  3. 10

    Chill the Sauce

Refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
