Chicken Wings
Buffalo Sauce
Method
Preparation of Chicken Wings
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss until the wings are well coated.
- 3
Arrange for Baking
Place the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack. This allows the heat to circulate around the wings for even cooking.
Buffalo Sauce Preparation
- 4
Make the Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and honey. Mix well and let simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Baking and Coating
- 5
Bake the Wings
Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
- 6
Coat with Sauce
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and toss them in the buffalo sauce until well coated.
Serving
- 7
Serve
Serve the buffalo chicken wings hot with your choice of dipping sauce and celery sticks.
