    Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes to chill it.

    Pour the Irish whiskey, sweet vermouth, Angostura bitters, and simple syrup into the mixing glass.

    Stir the ingredients gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

    Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.

    Garnish and Serve
