Preparation of Salad Base

Prepare Lettuce
Cut the baby iceberg lettuce into quarters, leaving the core intact to hold the wedges together.

Slice Tomatoes
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and set aside.

Slice Red Onion
Thinly slice the red onion and separate the rings.
Cook Bacon

Cook Bacon Lardons
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon lardons until crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
Prepare Dressing

Mix Dressing Ingredients
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
Assemble Salad

Plate the Wedge Salad
On a plate, place a quarter of the iceberg lettuce. Top with cherry tomato halves, red onion rings, and crispy bacon lardons.

Drizzle the smoked bleu cheese dressing generously over the salad. Crumble the smoked bleu cheese on top as a finishing touch.
