Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Bolognese Sauce
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Sauté until the vegetables are soft, about 5-7 minutes.

Brown the Meat
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5-6 minutes.

Add the Tomatoes and Wine
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Combine and Serve
Toss the cooked spaghetti with the Bolognese sauce. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese.
