Method

Preparing the Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Wings

In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until fully coated.

  3. 3

    Bake the Wings

Spread the wings out in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until they are crispy and cooked through.

Making the Hot Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.

  2. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Once melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, honey, and lemon juice. Stir well until combined.

  3. 6

    Heat Through

Heat the mixture gently until warmed through, then remove from heat.

Preparing the Blue Cheese Dressing

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, blue cheese crumbles, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 8

    Whisk Together

Whisk the ingredients together until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  3. 9

    Chill Dressing

Refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Serving

  1. 10

    Coat Wings

Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and toss them in the prepared hot sauce until evenly coated.

  2. 11

    Serve

Serve the hot wings with the blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
