Method
Preparing the Chicken
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Add the chicken breasts and coat them well with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- 2
Prepare the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.
Making the BBQ Sauce
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the BBQ sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes until slightly thickened.
Grilling the Chicken
- 4
Grill the Chicken
Place the marinated chicken breasts on the preheated grill. Grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 5
Add BBQ Sauce
During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the chicken breasts generously with the prepared BBQ sauce. Allow it to caramelize slightly on the grill.
