Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk them together until well blended.

  3. 3

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; do not overmix.

  5. 5

    Add Optional Ingredients

If desired, fold in chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or dried fruit gently into the batter.

Baking

  1. 6

    Prepare the Baking Pan

Grease or line your cup baking molds with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

  2. 7

    Fill the Molds

Using a ladle or measuring cup, pour the batter into the prepared molds, filling them about 2/3 full.

  3. 8

    Bake

Place the molds in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cooling and Serving

  1. 9

    Cool

Once baked, remove the cups from the oven and let them cool in the molds for 5 minutes. Then, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

  2. 10

    Serve

Enjoy your baked cups warm or at room temperature, optionally dusted with powdered sugar or topped with frosting.
