Method

Wings Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to prepare for baking the wings.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl.

  3. 3

    Season the Wings

Sprinkle salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder over the wings. Toss them well to ensure they are evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Bake the Wings

Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Sauce

While the wings are baking, heat the hot sauce and butter in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until the butter is melted and the mixture is combined.

  6. 6

    Toss Wings in Sauce

Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss until they are fully coated.

Blue Cheese Dressing Preparation

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine blue cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 8

    Mix the Dressing

Using a fork or whisk, mix the ingredients until well combined. You can leave some chunks of blue cheese for texture if desired.

  3. 9

    Chill the Dressing

Cover the dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
