Prepare the Glass
Place a sugar cube in an Old Fashioned glass and saturate it with Angostura bitters.

Add the bourbon to the glass and stir gently to combine.

Add a few ice cubes to the glass.

Garnish
Twist the orange peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it in. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
