Preparation Steps

1

Muddle the Mint and Lime

In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves and the lime, cut into wedges. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently muddle the mint and lime together. This releases the mint oils and lime juice.

2

Add Sugar

Sprinkle the granulated sugar over the muddled mint and lime. Use the muddler again to combine the sugar with the mint and lime mixture, ensuring the sugar begins to dissolve.

3

Add Soda Water

Fill the glass with ice cubes and pour the soda water over the top. Stir gently to mix all the ingredients together.

4

Garnish and Serve

Garnish the drink with an additional mint sprig and a lime wedge on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately with a straw.
