1

Prepare the Glass

Take a lime wedge and rub it along the rim of your cocktail glass. Dip the rim into a plate of salt to coat it evenly. Set aside.

In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice.

3

Shake Well

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

4

Strain and Serve

Using a strainer, pour the mixture into the prepared cocktail glass filled with ice, or serve straight up without ice.

5

Garnish the drink with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
