    Prepare Dough

    In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend into the creamed mixture. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips.

    Bake

    Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes or until edges are nicely browned.

Brownies

    Mix Ingredients

    Melt the butter and stir in the granulated and brown sugars. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until well combined. Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt; stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

    Bake

    Spread the batter into a greased 9x9 inch pan. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes. Let cool before cutting into squares.

Lemon Bars

    Make Crust

    Combine the flour and powdered sugar and cut in the butter until crumbly. Press into the bottom of a greased 9x9 inch pan. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes.

    Prepare Filling

    In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and baking powder. Pour over the baked crust.

    Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set. Let cool before cutting into bars.

    Brew fresh coffee in a pot. Prepare iced tea in a pitcher, adding ice and lemon if desired. Chill sodas and bottled water in the refrigerator.
