Bistro Cut Top Sirloin

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the top sirloin steaks with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper on both sides. Let them rest for 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  2. 2

    Roast the Bell Pepper

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the red bell pepper in half, remove the seeds, and place it on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and roast in the oven for 20 minutes until tender.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steaks and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time for your preferred doneness.

  4. 4

    Crush the Peppercorns

While the steak is cooking, crush the black peppercorns using a mortar and pestle or a rolling pin.

  5. 5

    Serve

Slice the steak and serve it alongside the roasted red bell pepper. Top with crushed black peppercorns and garnish with fresh rosemary.
