BBQ Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Rub this seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the ribs.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  4. 4

    Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the ribs generously with BBQ sauce. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

  5. 5

    Prepare French Fries and Coleslaw

While the ribs are finishing, cook the French fries according to the package instructions until golden and crispy. In a bowl, mix coleslaw mix with coleslaw dressing until well coated.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes. Cut the ribs into portions and serve with French fries and coleslaw on the side.
