Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Ham
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the ham on a roasting pan, flat side down. If the ham has a thick layer of fat, score it in a diamond pattern.
- 2
Make the Glaze
In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the apricot preserves, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture is well combined and smooth.

- 4
Bake the Ham
Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 1.5 hours (or until heated through), basting with the remaining glaze every 30 minutes.
- 5
Finish Up
Remove the foil in the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the glaze to caramelize and form a beautiful crust. Once done, let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
