Preparation Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and buttermilk. Dip each chicken breast first in the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.
- 2
Fry the Chicken
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the chicken breasts for about 6-8 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 3
Make the Buffalo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add hot sauce, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir until combined and heated through.
- 4
Coat the Chicken
Toss the fried chicken in the buffalo sauce until fully coated.
- 5
Prepare the Dressing
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, garlic powder, dried dill, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
- 6
Assemble the Sandwich
On each bun, place a piece of buffalo chicken, followed by lettuce and a slice of tomato. Serve with the prepared dressing on the side.
