Main Ingredients

Seasoning and Cooking Oil

Method

Cooking the Pork Chop

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chop

Take the 6oz center cut pork chop and pat it dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pork Chop

Place the seasoned pork chop in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side until a golden crust forms. Flip the chop and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes on the other side until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Remove from heat and let rest.

Cooking the Eggs

  1. 4

    Prepare to Cook the Eggs

In a small bowl, crack the 2 extra large eggs and beat them lightly with a fork. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. 5

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet used for the pork chop (after removing the chop), reduce the heat to medium and add a small amount of olive oil if necessary. Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet.

  3. 6

    Scramble the Eggs

Allow the eggs to sit for a few seconds, then gently stir with a spatula. Continue cooking until they are just set and no longer runny, about 3-4 minutes.
