Prepare the Shrimp
Rinse the peeled and deveined shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Bread the Shrimp
Dip each shrimp first into the flour mixture, coating it well, then into the egg mixture, and finally into the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
Frying

Heat the Oil
In a large, deep skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot (about 350°F or 175°C).

Fry the Shrimp
Carefully add the breaded shrimp to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Drain the Shrimp
Once cooked, remove the shrimp with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serving

Plate the Shrimp
Transfer the fried shrimp to a serving platter and serve with lemon wedges and cocktail sauce on the side.
