Chicken Mozzarella Recipe
A boneless and skinless chicken breast is topped with mozzarella cheese, olives and marinara sauce and served on grilled sourdough bread.

Prepare the Chicken

Season the Chicken
Rub the boneless, skinless chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

Cook the Chicken
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the seasoned chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden crust. Remove from heat and set aside.
Assemble the Dish

Layer the Ingredients
Place the cooked chicken breasts on a baking tray. Top each breast with a generous amount of marinara sauce, followed by shredded mozzarella cheese and sliced olives.

Melt the Cheese
Broil the assembled chicken under the oven broiler for about 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Spread butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.

Place the grilled sourdough bread on plates, and top each slice with the cheesy chicken. Serve warm.
