Preparing the Ribs

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).

Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption. Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

Season the Ribs
In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Making the Barbecue Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, mustard powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

Cook the Sauce
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes until slightly thickened.
Cooking the Ribs

Bake the Ribs
Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover tightly with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until they are tender.

Broil for Finish
Increase oven temperature to broil. Broil the ribs for 3-5 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning, until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.
Serving

Rest and Serve
Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before cutting into portions. Serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
