Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Pat the ribeye steaks dry with a paper towel. Rub each steak generously with Cajun seasoning on both sides, ensuring an even coating.

  2. 2

    Heat the Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Carefully place the seasoned ribeye steaks in the hot skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time to your preferred doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for about 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

Assembling the Dish

  1. 5

    Prepare the Toppings

While the steak is resting, crumble the bleu cheese into small pieces and set aside.

  2. 6

    Plate the Steak

On a serving plate, place each ribeye steak. Top each steak with crumbled bleu cheese and a generous handful of fried onions.

  3. 7

    Serve and Enjoy

Serve immediately while the steak is warm and enjoy the flavorful combination of Cajun spices, creamy bleu cheese, and crispy fried onions.
