Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Iceberg Lettuce

Remove any wilted outer leaves from the head of iceberg lettuce. Cut the head in half, and then cut each half into wedges. Rinse the wedges under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Tomatoes

Wash the tomatoes thoroughly. Remove the stems and cut each tomato into wedges or slices, depending on your preference.

Dressing Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix the Dressing

In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, and bleu cheese. Use a fork to mash the bleu cheese slightly, mixing all the ingredients together until they are well combined.

  2. 4

    Season the Dressing

Add the lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the dressing mixture. Stir well to combine all the flavors. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Salad

On a serving plate, place one wedge of iceberg lettuce. Top it with the sliced tomatoes and sprinkle the bleu cheese crumbles generously over the top.

  2. 6

    Add the Dressing

Drizzle the prepared bleu cheese dressing over the wedge salad. You can add more dressing if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
