Method

Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the beef into two equal portions, shaping each into a loose ball.

  2. 2

    Sear the Patties

Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Place the beef balls on the skillet and smash them down with a spatula to form patties. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side.

  3. 3

    Flip and Add Cheese

Flip the patties and place a slice of American cheese on each. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Toppings

  1. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and dry the lettuce, then tear it into smaller pieces. Slice the tomato and onion into thin rings.

Sauce

  1. 5

    Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish. Stir well until all ingredients are fully mixed.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Burger

Lightly toast the brioche rolls on the skillet. Spread the Sam's sauce on the bottom half of each roll. Place the cheese-topped patties on top, followed by lettuce, tomato, and onion. Close with the top half of the roll.
