Cut the cantaloupe melon in half, scoop out the seeds, and slice the flesh into thin wedges.

Lay the slices of Prosciutto di Parma on a serving platter, slightly overlapping them.
Port Wine Reduction

Cook the Port Wine
In a small saucepan, pour the port wine and heat over medium heat until it begins to simmer.

Reduce the Port Wine
Allow the port wine to simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until it has reduced by half and has thickened slightly. Remove from heat and let cool.

Combine Ingredients
Arrange the melon wedges on top of the prosciutto slices on the platter.

Drizzle with Reduction
Once the port wine reduction has cooled, drizzle it over the prosciutto and melon arrangement.
