Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Pat the turkey dry with paper towels.

Seasoning the Turkey

In a bowl, mix softened butter with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme. Rub this mixture all over the turkey.

Roasting the Turkey

Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth into the bottom of the pan. Roast according to the weight of the turkey, about 13-15 minutes per pound, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
