Method

Prepare the Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patty

Divide the mixture into two equal portions (approximately 180g each) and form them into round patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

Cook the Patty

  1. 3

    Grill or Pan-fry

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip them.

  2. 4

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place a slice of Silano cheese on each patty and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patty is cooked to your desired doneness.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Bun

Toast the burger bun lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of the bun, place the cooked patty with melted cheese. Top with a slice of tomato, a leaf of lettuce, and a sprinkle of crispy onions. Finish with the top half of the bun.
