Method

Preparation of Tomato Carpaccio

    Slice the Tomatoes

    Wash and thinly slice the tomatoes. Arrange the slices on a serving plate in a circular pattern.

    Drizzle olive oil over the sliced tomatoes, sprinkle with salt, and evenly distribute the dried oregano on top.

    Add Fresh Basil

    Place the fresh basil leaves on top of the tomatoes for added flavor.

Preparation of Pesto Sauce

    Blend the Pesto Ingredients

    In a food processor, combine the fresh basil, pine nuts, garlic, and Parmesan cheese. Pulse until finely chopped.

    Add Olive Oil

    With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the mixture is smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt to taste.

Assembly

    Add Burrata

    Place the burrata cheese in the center of the arranged tomato carpaccio.

    Drizzle Pesto

    Generously drizzle the prepared pesto sauce over the burrata and tomatoes.
