Toppings

Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a bowl, mix the all-beef ground meat with salt and black pepper. Form into a patty shape and set aside.

BBQ Sauce

  1. 2

    Add BBQ Sauce

Once the patty is cooked, generously brush both sides with BBQ sauce while grilling for added flavor.

Tobacco Onions

  1. 3

    Prepare the Onions

Slice the onion into thin rings. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

  2. 4

    Fry the Onions

Dredge the onion rings in the flour mixture until well coated. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Assemble the Smokehouse

On the bottom half of the burger bun, place the lettuce leaves, followed by the cooked beef patty topped with additional BBQ sauce, fried tobacco onions, pickles, and sliced tomato. Cap with the top half of the bun.
