Method

Infusing the Tequila

  1. 1

    Prepare the Jalapeno

Slice the whole jalapeno in half lengthwise and remove the seeds (if desired, for less heat).

  2. 2

    Infuse the Tequila

Place the sliced jalapeno into a bottle of Camarena Blanco tequila. Seal the bottle and let it infuse for at least 2 hours at room temperature. For a stronger flavor, let it infuse for up to 24 hours.

Mixing the Cocktail

  1. 3

    Prepare the Shaker

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

  2. 4

    Add Ingredients

Pour in 2 oz of the jalapeno-infused Camarena Blanco, 1 oz of Triple Sec, 1 oz of fresh lemon juice, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup into the shaker.

  3. 5

    Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to combine and chill the ingredients.

  4. 6

    Strain

Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnishing

  1. 7

    Garnish the Drink

Garnish with a lime wedge and a few slices of jalapeno on top or on the rim of the glass.
