Method

Preparing Espresso

1

Brew the Espresso

Using an espresso machine, brew 1 shot (approximately 30ml) of espresso. Make sure the water temperature is around 90-95°C (194-203°F) for optimal extraction.

Steaming Milk

2

Steam the Milk

Pour 200ml of milk into a steaming pitcher. Use the steam wand of your espresso machine to steam the milk until it reaches 65-70°C (149-158°F). The milk should be frothy and have a silky texture.

Assembling the Latte

3

Combine Ingredients

In a large coffee cup, pour the brewed espresso shot. Add 15ml of vanilla syrup to the espresso and stir to combine.

4

Add Steamed Milk

Slowly pour the steamed milk into the cup, holding back the foam with a spoon. Once you have added the desired amount of milk, spoon the foam on top.

Finishing Touch

5

Serve

Optionally, you can sprinkle some cocoa powder or cinnamon on top for an extra touch. Serve immediately while hot.
