Preparing the Shrimp

Boil the Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Add Old Bay Seasoning
Once the water is boiling, add 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning to the pot. Stir well to combine.

Poach the Shrimp
Carefully add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the boiling seasoned water. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Drain Again
Once cooled, drain the shrimp again and set aside.
Making the Cocktail Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of hot sauce, and 0.5 teaspoon of salt.

Mix Well
Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste if needed.
Serving

Plate the Shrimp
Arrange the poached shrimp on a serving platter or individual plates.

Serve with Cocktail Sauce
Serve the shrimp with the house-made cocktail sauce on the side for dipping.
