Gelato

Method

Prepare the Gelato

1

Scoop the Cherry Gelato

Using an ice cream scoop, portion out 2 cups of cherry gelato into each serving bowl or dish.

Prepare the Toppings

2

Prepare Dulce de Leche

Warm the dulce de leche in a small saucepan over low heat until it is slightly runny, about 3-5 minutes.

3

Toast the Marshmallows

Using a kitchen torch or broiler, lightly toast the marshmallows until golden brown and slightly charred. Watch closely to prevent burning.

4

Crush Amaretti Cookies

Place the amaretti cookies in a ziplock bag and crush them into small pieces using a rolling pin or your hands.

5

Chop Pistachios

Roughly chop the pistachios and set aside for garnish.

Assemble the Sundae

6

Layer the Sundae

In each bowl with cherry gelato, drizzle warm dulce de leche over the top, followed by a generous handful of toasted marshmallows.

7

Add Toppings

Sprinkle the crushed amaretti cookies and chopped pistachios over the sundae for added texture and flavor.
