Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and form into 4 equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the hamburger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the bottom half of each bun. Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on top. Add lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles before placing the top bun.

Fries Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to form fries.

  2. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per batch.

  4. 9

    Drain and Season

Remove the fries from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with salt while hot.
