For the Fries
Method
For the Sicilian Dip
- 1
Prepare the Base
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and well-blended.
- 2
Add Fresh Ingredients
Stir in the chopped fresh basil, sun-dried tomatoes, minced garlic, and finely chopped red onion. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- 3
Season the Dip
Add the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine all the flavors.
- 4
Chill
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
For the Fries
- 5
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 6
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes if desired. Cut them into evenly sized fries.
- 7
Season the Fries
In a large bowl, toss the cut fries with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until well coated.
- 8
Bake the Fries
Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- 9
Serve
Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and serve hot with the chilled Sicilian dip.
