Cooking the Meat

  1. 1

    Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients. Finely chop the onion and tomato, and slit the green chili.

  2. 2

    Step 2: Sauté the Aromatics

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.

  3. 3

    Step 3: Cook the Onion

Add the finely chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, approximately 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Step 4: Add Ginger-Garlic Paste

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant.

  5. 5

Step 5: Add Tomatoes and Spices

Add the chopped tomato, green chili, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften.

  6. 6

    Step 6: Cook the Meat

Add the ground lamb or beef to the skillet. Mix well and cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked, about 10-12 minutes.

Preparing the Egg Topping

  1. 7

    Step 7: Beat the Eggs

In a bowl, crack the eggs and beat them lightly. Add salt to taste.

  2. 8

Step 8: Add the Eggs to the Meat

Once the meat is cooked, pour the beaten eggs over the keema mixture. Stir gently to combine.
