Prepare the Ginger
Peel the fresh ginger root and slice it thinly or chop it into small pieces.

Prepare the Lemons
Roll the lemons on a countertop to release more juice, then cut them in half and squeeze the juice into a small bowl, discarding the seeds.
Brewing the Tea

Boil Water
In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Add Ginger
Once the water is boiling, add the sliced ginger to the pot and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

Add Lemon Juice
After 10 minutes, add the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the pot and stir well.

Add Honey
Stir in 4 tablespoons of honey until it dissolves completely. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.

Let the mixture simmer for another 5 minutes to combine all flavors.
Serving

Strain and Serve
Remove the pot from heat and strain the tea into cups or a teapot to remove ginger pieces.
