Classic margarita takes a charismatic turn, named for a wayward character who sought redemption. Lime juice and turmeric-honey lassi syrup, shaken hard and strained finely into a sours glass with your choice of Tequila el Jimador or The Lost Explorer Mezcal Espadin.

In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila or mezcal, fresh lime juice, and turmeric-honey lassi syrup.

Add ice cubes to the shaker. Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Strain the Cocktail
Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the mixture into a chilled sours glass.

Garnish and Serve
Optionally, garnish with a lime wheel or a sprinkle of ground turmeric. Serve immediately and enjoy your Cyrus Irani!
Turmeric-Honey Lassi Syrup Preparation

Mix the Ingredients
In a bowl, combine plain yogurt, honey, ground turmeric, and water. Whisk until smooth and well blended.

Transfer the syrup to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. This syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
