Method
Coffee Preparation
- 1
Grinding the Coffee Beans
Combine the Arabica and Brazilian Minas coffee beans in a grinder. Grind the beans to a medium-fine consistency suitable for brewing.
- 2
Brewing the Coffee
In a coffee maker or French press, add the ground coffee beans. Pour the filtered water (500 ml) over the coffee grounds and let it steep for about 4-5 minutes. If using a French press, press the plunger down slowly.
- 3
Preparing the Milk
In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it is warm but not boiling. Stir in the powdered jaggery until it completely dissolves.
- 4
Combining Coffee and Milk
Once the coffee is brewed, pour it into a cup. Gradually add the warm milk mixture to the coffee, stirring gently to combine.
- 5
Garnishing
Optionally, sprinkle cocoa powder on top and add a dash of orange zest for an aromatic garnish.
