Method

Preparation of Thai Tea

  1. 1

    Brew the Thai Tea

In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add 2 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves, reduce heat, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Strain the tea into a bowl and let it cool.

French Toast Mixture

  1. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the cooled Thai tea, milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Cooking the French Toast

  1. 3

    Prepare the Pan

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.

  2. 4

    Dip the Croissants

Slice the croissants in half horizontally. Dip each half in the Thai tea mixture, ensuring they are well coated but not soggy.

  3. 5

    Cook the Toast

Place the dipped croissant halves in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Add more butter as needed.

Whipped Cream and Toppings

  1. 6

    Make the Whipped Cream

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar together using an electric mixer until soft peaks form.

  2. 7

    Prepare the Fresh Fruit

Wash and slice the fresh fruit as desired.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve the French Toast

Plate the French toast and top with a generous dollop of vanilla whipped cream and a side of fresh fruit. Enjoy!
