Method

Preparation of Sliders

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Sliders

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and pepper to taste. Form into 25 small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chicken Sliders

In another bowl, mix the ground chicken with salt and pepper to taste. Form into 25 small patties, similar in size to the beef patties.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Vegetarian Sliders

In a bowl, mix the mashed black beans with salt and pepper. Form into 25 small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.

  4. 4

    Cook the Sliders

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook each type of slider for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. For the beef, ensure it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F; chicken should reach 165°F.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sliders

Once cooked, place each patty on a slider bun. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each beef and chicken slider while still hot to allow the cheese to melt. Top with shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, pickles, and desired condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise).

Serving the Chips

  1. 6

    Prepare the Chips

Open the bags of kettle-cooked potato chips and place them in serving bowls for easy access.
