Method

Preparing the Sliders

  1. 1

    Mixing the Beef

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Forming the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and form into slider-sized patties, about 2 inches in diameter.

  3. 3

    Cooking the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  4. 4

    Adding Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and cover to melt the cheese.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 5

    Slice the Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato, pickles, and red onion. Prepare the arugula as a fresh topping.

Making the Sauce

  1. 6

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt to taste. Stir until smooth and well combined.

Assembling the Sliders

  1. 7

    Building the Sliders

On each slider bun, spread a layer of the sriracha mayonnaise. Place a cheese-topped patty on the bottom half of the bun, followed by arugula, sliced tomato, pickles, and red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.
