Method
Preparing the Patty
- 1
Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Use your hands to mix the ingredients gently until just combined.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty that is about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.
Grilling the Burger
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
- 4
Cook the Patties
Place the patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
