Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven's broiler on high for about 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Broiling Pan

Line a broiling pan with aluminum foil for easier cleanup. Place a baking rack on top of the pan.

  3. 3

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt 1 cup of butter over low heat. Stir in minced garlic and lemon juice. Remove from heat once combined.

  4. 4

    Season the Fish

Place the white fish fillets on the prepared broiling pan. Brush each fillet generously with the garlic butter mixture. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

  5. 5

    Broil the Fish

Place the broiling pan under the broiler, about 6 inches from the heat source. Broil the fish for about 8-10 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque in color.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, carefully remove the fish from the oven. Drizzle remaining garlic butter over the top and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
