Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the rib slab. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

Mix the Dry Rub
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix until well combined.

Apply the Dry Rub
Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the pork ribs, ensuring even coverage. Let the ribs sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

Wrap the Ribs
Wrap the rib slab tightly in aluminum foil, sealing it well to keep the moisture in.

Bake the Ribs
Place the wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.

Prepare the BBQ Sauce
While ribs are baking, in a saucepan combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, honey, mustard, and smoked paprika. Mix on medium heat until well combined and heated through.

Broil the Ribs
Turn the oven to broil, and return the ribs to the oven uncovered. Broil for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce starts to caramelize.
Serving

Rest and Serve
Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
